It was released on December 18, 2014 in Japan, on July 14, 2015 in North America, and on July 17, 2015 in Europe. The Japanese version of the PlayStation 4 Godzilla is titled Godzilla VS and was released on July 16, 2015. Godzilla VS is the exact same game as the PlayStation 4 Godzilla.
